Will not be coming back. Had food posisoning a few hours later. Food was not up to standard and chef did not follow the menu. I came here for dinner, 5pax. Many other reviews view this place as 'fine dining,' but after dining here I am disappointed.
FOOD:

As seen in the picture,
1. Truffle pasta was plated questionably.
2. I asked for a medium steak. Instead, the meat was well done, and a bit dry. The caramelised onion was also not grilled properly. It tasted raw.
3. Cod was supposed to come with mash potatoes. Mash potatoes were nowhere to be seen. When we asked, they said it was because they changed the menu from sweet potato to truffle pasta. But not all of us were eating the truffle pasta (more elaboration below)
3. (not in picture) They also served us grapes, but the grapes, despite being cut into half, had many many seeds inside. As a proper restaurant I expected better.
SERVICE:
1. We already made a reservation in advance. However, when we were supposed to be served our sweet potato, the waiter informed us that they would be serving us truffle pasta instead, as they had run out of sweet potato. Upon request, since my family member did not like pasta, the restaurant gave her the last piece of sweet potato. However, that family member was not given her mashed potato with the cod fish, even though she didn't eat the pasta. I expected them to have sufficient ingredients for us.
To make up for the mistake, the chef offered us complementary truffle ice cream. However, there were 5 of us, but we were only served 2 plates. But thank you for the ice cream.
2. I expected a fine dining place, as so they have labelled themselves as. However, after each meal they did not change us a new set of cutlery. We had multiple spoons, but only 1 fork and 1 knife. We were using the same knife for all the dishes! (salad, fish, steak, etc..)

update: After reading the owner's review, definitely will not be coming back. The reply was passive aggressive. If you had accepted our reservation, you should have checked beforehand to ensure you had sufficient stock. Also, maybe inform us slightly beforehand about the change in menu and not when we're eating the second course. also had food poisoning a few hours later.

Apology again.. it will be my last reply for you. I find it quite interesting from you that you re-edit your review after read my response. Adding food poisoning to your re-edit review after dining at our place for almost 3 weeks ago. I find it quite manipulative to complain re-edit after 3 weeks instead of complaining on your late december 2025 review.. Apology again..

Regard of making reservation in advance, we try to inform our customers that you need to reserve a day in advance. An Apology is needed from us, probably it's our staff fault that they did not inform you beforehand you need to “RESERVE A DAY IN ADVANCE” not 1/2 hour to 1 hour before dine in.
About the steak, we were inform to cook medium well on the phone. The steak should be best cook to medium, but we tried our best to make sure cook close to medium yet still medium well. From Our staff understanding, we were inform on the table the steak shouldn’t be tough.. it’s a tough situation to cook medium well yet shouldn’t be tough. While your review indicate asked for medium. May be you should verify again with someone who call & asked for medium well.
We have tried to serve you best we probably could. We should let our staff be more decisive on customer decision in future to ask them having either medium well or not serving a tough steak in medium well”. We should also inform our customers to choose medium instead of medium well. Apology too from us
As for sweet potatoes, we were sorry that you were upset for not able to serve you our sweet potatoes. We couldn’t prepare our sweet potatoes to cook in 1 hour time, as we prepare & cook our sweet potatoes 4-5 hours to perfection. We don’t cook unless we have reservation in advance. I hope you can understand the situation you put us in, when you make a reservation 1 hour in advance & expect us to serve you food that need 4-5 hours of cooking time.
Regard of pasta truffles, you were not impressed. Sorry for your unpleasant dinner. We have serve you a dehydrated black truffles in our pasta. If you have doubt, request & need to see fresh truffles on the plate, we could serve you the fresh truffles but substitute replacement from sweet potatoes, we couldn’t do that. Apology again.
We are now informed that you did not like pasta. We will teach our staffs to further learning their asking abilities by asking you in future either what you can eat or can’t eat in the first place.
Overall sorry for your bad experience, may be we should have not accepted your reservation. It did not follow our SOP reservation. Thanks for letting us know about our mistake, as we did accept your reservation out of courtesy to take you in. We shouldn’t have..
Thank you for your un empathy review, where reflection on customer side are needed too. We will be more cautious to serve our customers better, when meeting customers someone like you who also need to know & understand our restaurant policies too.
