Amazing buffet dinner with plenty of options. Matriin, has been outstanding in his service and dedication to all the customers. His work ethic is an example and sets a standard for the hospitality line. Would 10/10 come back

Visiting for Iftar event with customer. Fully booked but still comfortable for conversation. Food are tasty. Feel lucky to find Kefta here (Morrocan meatball). Waiters are so much helpful and kind to serve us coffee and dessert as our dinner meeting take longer time.

To be honest, I have a high expectation towards this place as it bears the reputable name of Westin, but alas, I had to be disappointed with how bad the service is. I truly understand that handling a lot of customers at the same time might be overwhelming, but it seems like the waitress (the one with the pink uniform) is considerably undertrained. When I wanted to order pasta, she told me to do it directly to the chef, but the chef was also overwhelmed, and instead of taking my order, he was whining and saying that "pusing aku". So unprofessional, especially coming from a five-star hotel. The waitress in a pink uniform also showed how unprofessional she was but displayed confusion with the flow instead of stepping up. Seems like they are never trained to handle a chaotic situation In the end, my ordered pasta didn't come. It proved how bad their service is.
Last week I had dinner with my colleagues. We had great experience. The food so yummy (especially lobster & steak). The service was excellent. Thank you for all the of Westin and Magnolia, you guys so nice. Especially Pak Ridwan and Bilqis. Keep it up guys! Thank you

We had a Christmas buffet lunch. The service is one of the best in Sby. Unfortunately the quality of the food is not up to par. The croissant is so bad. The dessert is so so. The meat dishes are not nice. The lobster with béchamel sauce is not too bad. The sushi….just no! It is very unfortunate for such a beautiful place for lunch. 23 desember coba dinner buffet disini. kami ber 6 kena 2.5juta++. untuk pelayanan dan tempat standart hotel bintang 5. Untuk makananya 1. bikin kecewa harga segini tidak ada salmon tdk sesuai iklan2nya. 2. Macam makanannya tdk banyak. 3. Scallop yg disajikan tdk fresh. 4. Jus jeruknya kureng padahal minuman sederhana tpi ga bisa enak 😂 5. Ada beberapa menu tdk ditawarkan/ menu tertulis dan itu hanya bisa by order paling seperti steak dan untuk lobster kluarnya jam 8 malam sj. 6. Ada kepiting nih tpi mau makan aja malas kurus kecil bgt. bagusnya jadi garnish aja kepitingnya 🤣 7. bebek peking nya kurang garing. lembek 8. overall rasa 6.8/10 untuk harga segitu hotel bintang 5 lainnya masih lbih oke

I recently had dinner at Magnolia Restaurant with my mom and sister, and it was an amazing experience. The place feels elegant and spacious, with a beautiful view of the Surabaya skyline at night. The buffet had a huge selection of food, from Western dishes like beef wellington and steak to sushi, seafood, dimsum, and local favorites. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service overall was really good. It also happened to be a ladies’ night, so my mom got free drinks, which made the evening even more fun. Definitely one of the best buffet experiences in Surabaya.

Salah satu buffet hotel yang paling famous di Surabaya. Kualitasnya baik dan bagus. Lokasi di lantai L nya Westin Pakuwon Mall. Masuk dari samping Pull & Bear. Penataan rapi, bersih, dan rajin di refill. Bisa reserve juga bisa langsung datang. Bisa ambil sendiri di station atau request ke team mereka untuk diambilkan. Kadang ada special menu jadi ditanya aja pas datang. Sashimi nya so fresh and so good. Seafood ga coba semua tapi fresh. Tiramisu nya paling dicari. Ada beberapa cocktail juga kalau mau. Rawon juga enak. dessert banyak, steak juga oke. Perut ga cukup masuk lagi deh. Jam 3 siang uda tutup yah. Jadi datang jam 12an aja. Harga tadi ada promo BOGO ternyata dengan bank tertentu, pas bayar jadi lebih murah. Harga di 5xxk++ Salut sama mas mbak nya yg ramah, sigap, sopan, gercep. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel’s restaurant. I expected far better treatment. My wife and I were told to sit at a particular table, only to be rudely informed while eating that the seat was “reserved” – despite being instructed to sit there in the first place. The inconsistency and poor service were completely unacceptable. This behavior is especially disappointing given my long-standing patronage. I won't be returning to this restaurant or recommending it to anyone in the future.

Pros: lokasi resto di lantai atas memberikan pemandangan dari atas yang bagus, makanan yang disediakan sangat beragam (International buffet breakfast), rasa dari es cream rasa Taro enak (hanya kurang halus teksturnya, kristal es terasa kasar), pelayanan sangat baik, rasa dari kopinya yg dark roast sangat kuat, daging sapi lulur dalam yg dimasak sangat empuk, pancake yang terbuat dari campuran labu kuning enak (teksturnya kurang empuk), pilihan keju untuk appetizer cukup beragam (ada sekitar 5 macam keju --> babybell, mozarella, cheddar, dll), tersedia beragam jus buah dan sayuran yang bisa di mix sesuai permintaan. Cons: rasa selai strawberry kurang banyak buah strawberry nya, penggunaan ayam kampung dapat digunakan untuk masakan ayam taliwang (hindari penggunaan ayam boiller).

one of the best (and my fav) hotel buffet in surabaya! honestly, the variations is not that many comparably, but the food quality is no doubt one of the best! the staffs are also super helpful and friendly, place was really nice too. there’s pasta, indo cuisine, chinese cuisine, steak, sashimi and sushi, dimsum, dessert, soup, salad, you name it haha. i loved the beef at the carving station, and of course sashimi <3 everything’s fresh!

View is excellent, service is very good. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There are not many food varieties, quality of food is average. We tried lobster but was so dry and not fresh. Coffee tastes like water. Dessert is good, hot food like noodle and stir fry beef are the best. Overall is ok, but for the price of 880, i think i prefer to eat somewhere else.

Tldr: nice atmosphere, food is meh recently Went a few times already. Last visit was on December 8th '23. Service and atmosphere is always awesome. Lack of drink option is insane. Food has its up and down. Indonesian options have been consistently ok. Last yorkshire pudding was pretty dry unfortunately, either cooked for too long or have been out for a while. That being said, a lot of their supposedly hot or warm food was also cold 🥲. Especially at the very front section before the desserts, they put some tex-mex and fried items, but it was left out in the cold. Some rearranging can be done for that. Dessert quality have gone down a bit. I don't understand how their bread pudding was moved near the cheeses at the back w/ the indonesian food. Should be close to ice creams and chocolate sauces for piping hot bread pudding haha (the bread pudding was also getting cold lol). The ones that I have always consistently enjoyed are the salad options and their chicken hainan and duck. Anw, for its price, food quality should be better maintained over time. Went to br*m* at sh*r*ton recently and can confidently say that they're doing it better after their revamp esp the dessert section!!! 🤣

Kalo kata Codebluu KEK MANA!! Mungkin karena ekspetasi terlalu tinggi. Semua makanan rata2 dingin, yang paling mengecewakan peking ducknya dingin. Nasi hainan hambar, mirip nasi liwet. Ayam hainan alot. Sushinya GAK FRESH, KEK MANA!! Beefnya lumayan lah, gorengan dimsumnya dingin. Noodle station paling mending 😂 But my point is, buffet tp gak ada air putih. Semua minuman manis banget 😂 Untung buy 1 get 1, kalo normal price sangat tdk worth it. Otw saya bandingkan sama St Regis yg ARA ARA

Reviewing for the dinner buffett.. Not worth your money, the food is so-so, and how come a 5 star establishment serves meltique beef is beyond me.

Amazing service by Pak Bagus the Assistant Manager, Mas William, and team. I’ve came for dinner at Magnolia twice. They have a great selection of foods. Worth to mention, the staffs are all attentive, warm, helpful, and engaging. Kudos Magnolia team.

I was so disappointed… I tried and tasted often a buffet restaurant in the 5 star hotels all around the world but here was the worst!! The food quality was far from what we waited and there was even some eggs of indonesian food section which was gone = “rotten” (I can’t believe) and the beef quality was so poor. Choices are not that many. It’s a shame. The location, the view and the service were very nice but the food was not equivalent unfortunately. I don’t want to write this kind of negative comment but I just want to share the true feeling of my first&last visiting. And as we go to the buffet for the food not for the service or view first, I will definitely never want to come back there. But the taste of a few makanan was not so bad at least.

Great dining experience! They have a romantic ambiance, the service is good, and the food tastes good. The pork belly is super tasty, my favorite of all. A little disappointed about the sushi, because it's too dry. And I think you can make the Tom Yum Soup more flavorful. Oh almost forget, I love the Banh Mi.

Tempat nyaman dengan suasana yang bagus, tetapi untuk makanan kurang sesuai rasanya untuk sekelas hotel bintang 5 dan overrated.
Magnolia buffet nya masih bisa ditingkatin lagi, untuk saat ini mungkin chef nya banyak yg belum kembali dari liburan. Rasa dan kualitas makanan sangat jauh dari yg namanya hotel bintang 5. Memang keju dan selai nya importnya TOP, tapi untuk makanan lain jauh dibawah taste yg ada di mall. Apalagi makanan jepang nya, bukan standard nya Westin. Seharusnya ada harga ada rupa, tolong segera dibenahi.

I'm not living in Surabaya, but was interested to try this all you can eat buffet on my visits last month after all the goods reviews I heard and read on social media. However, personally I think this ayce is overrated. I don't know if I was the unlucky one or if my timing of visit was just not right; but I can't say I enjoy my dinner at this restaurant. The food just ok, nothing too special. The taste just enough compared to some other all you can eat buffet at the same level of 5 stars hotels restaurant that I've ever tried. And the desserts was far from what I expected to taste like... I really don't know what was happen on my visit, but at that night the chocolate cake especially was not delicious at all. It's not the taste of the chocolate that 5 starts hotel will use, rather taste like a common chocolate that homemade industry used. Not expected the experience will be like this with the price offered. I'm sorry have to say this but for me it's just not my taste. I hope you could improve for the future, with all the titles and appreciation that attached & given to the hotel and restaurant names.
