First time visiting this restaurant in Bandung and it did not disappoint! We tried their recommended babyback ribs and were honestly surprised by how tender and tasty they were. The hot choco earl grey was amazing too. Will definitely come back whenever we're in Bandung again!
they do serve breakfast now ...everyday 7:30-11:00 am...its super good, nice and savoury...kids love it tooo..
The baby back are so tender and succulent. The thin crust pizza are so crispy. Amazing place.
We stayed 2 nights at Bandung, and for 2 days we went back to back to La Costilla! Tried La Costilla and honestly… everything just hit. We ordered quite a lot — babyback pork ribs (local Bali), mushroom velouté soup, bacon & cream pasta, peri-peri chicken spaghetti, truffle mushroom spaghetti, kids pork teriyaki set, amante de la carne pizza, baked potato soup, and orange blossom juice. Not a single miss. Everything tasted right, properly cooked, well-seasoned, and you can tell they actually care about what they serve. The ribs were super tender, pasta was on point, and even the soups and pizza were solid. Rare to find a place where every dish lands like this. The place itself is also super comfortable. Good for families, good for hanging out. They even have Duplo Lego for kids, which is a nice touch. Parking is easy, plenty of space. Staff are friendly and know what they’re doing. Plus free infused water — small detail but appreciated. One of the best spots in Bandung for sure. Will definitely be back.
The restaurant has relocated and we tried their new spot, which is an old house that has been renovated. The table placement is not ideal, with some tables near the toilet. However, the ribs are still the highlight of the menu. The USA ribs are cooked to perfection, with tender meat and a flavorful sauce. They offer a few sauce options, but they don’t come with sides, which can be added for an extra charge. Another great dish is the rice with pork belly bits and garlic. The pork belly steak is a bit fatty, but the meat in the middle is surprisingly tender and flavorful. The peri peri chicken is a quarter chicken and is well-cooked, but the taste could be improved. The pizza was better on our last visit at a different location, and it seems that the quality and taste have declined a bit. The truffle fries are a nice starter, but the overall experience is still good for ribs. While the other mains are hit or miss, the ribs are definitely worth trying. Service is attentive and friendly, which is great
